We’re so glad you found us! This page shares some behind-the-scenes details about how we work together—think of it as our office playbook with personality. But more than policies, we want you to feel our values, understand why we do what we do, and get a real sense of our workplace vibe. Who Are We?
Pamela Moyer — Tallahassee native, spreadsheet whisperer, and chief fixer of all things tech and tangled. Former IT/Project Management pro who turned her list-making powers to running Haven: licenses, taxes, marketing, payroll — she does the boring stuff so you don’t have to. Licensed in massage (2010) and skincare (2015), she also offers services at Haven and brings extra credentials: Integrative Health Coach (Duke) and Certified Lymphatic Therapist (ACOLS).
Introvert, but not aloof — think thoughtful, plugged-in, and always with a soundtrack. Comic-book nerd, horror-movie devotee, eternal multi-tasker; much of her work magic happens behind the scenes (and at home). Founded Haven in 2016 to help her community thrive — mission accomplished, with playlists. Info on Team Haven can be found here!
Our Mission
We deliver expert skincare and massages in a cozy, calm Tallahassee escape — minus the outside-world chaos. We educate clients so the benefits stick beyond the treatment room, and we create supportive workspaces for healing professionals so they can focus on care, not paperwork.
Basic Workplace Culture
Dress code: We’re pretty casual - no scrubs required here. BUT we do request that you wear plain colored tops and bottoms that are clean and undamaged. “Athleisure wear”, such as yoga pants and athletic tops, is acceptable so long as cleavage and bums are covered. Please use proper hygiene. Come showered, groomed, clean, fed, and ready to work.
Paychecks: Unless otherwise specified in your contract, checks are disbursed every Friday for the previous week. Your contract will reflect your pay.
Lunch: We encourage you to eat BEFORE you come to work. We do have a fridge for meals or snacks, that will be emptied every Sunday. If you want to leave something in the fridge, mark it! Please, no eating in front of customers. And for the love of all that is holy…no fish.
Atmosphere: We encourage a collaborative atmosphere. Our mission is to establish a rapport with our clients in such a way that they feel comfortable seeing anyone at Haven. We also have members who are happy to see anyone available at the time they want to come in. No one here is “stealing” clients. All clients at Haven are clients of Haven.
No-drama Llama says to leave your drama at the door. Having a bad day? Guess what…everyone does! If you need to spill your guts, we’re more than happy to chat about it over a coffee or a beer. Outside of work, we’re all about sharing the load, Mr. Frodo. But when you’re at Haven, your drama is checked at the door. We’re big believers in energy transference, and we want our clients leaving feeling lighter, happier, and more relaxed than when they arrived.

Customer Relations: Haven is a SAFE SPACE for our clients. Our clients are THE BEST. We are inclusive of all peoples, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, physical ability, or age. As long as a client is a human being (18 years+, or with consent from an adult), we serve them. We DO reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who makes us feel unsafe. We only provide legal and ethical services. We take this very seriously. Report malicious behavior to management immediately. Haven also serves as a SAFE SPACE for you!
